New Release (finally!)

Wow, it has been a while since I've released anything. Whoever invented RL needs to quit their day job. Anyway, Algade is honored to participate in this year's Second Life Pink Shirt Day. Organized by the multi talented December Dollinger it is definitely an event I am excited for. In support of this cause I have created the Pink and Love babydoll. I hope that you all enjoy it and that you support this wonderful cause.

Pink Shirt Day started in a Nova Scotia high school, where a 9th grade boy was being bullied over wearing a pink polo shirt to school. A couple of grade 12 boys decided to take a stand against the bullying and wear pink in sympathy for the boy who had been so mercilessly prodded at. They went to a local discount store and bought 50 pink shirts, and distributed them amongst the other boys in their high school. They stood up for their fellow classmate and against the bullies, and made a real difference in someone's life.

In a place like Second Life, Cyber Bullying runs rampant. In a virtual world where it is so easy to be anonymous and hide behind your pixels, many people find it the perfect environment to attack and belittle others. Unfortunately, this can lead to real life emotional distress, even to those who "disconnect" their Second Life and first life.

It is time that we all take a stand against bullying in all its forms. Why, in a community so small, should there be so much vitrol and mudslinging, when, if we band together, we become stronger?

This year, Pink Shirt Day falls on Wednesday, April 14th, and we are asking that bloggers and creators alike, who share a passion for peace and a hatred for bullying, stand up and make a difference!

Newness

Hey All -

I have a new release out at the main store. I'm a sucker for a good pair of high waist pants and thus the High Waist Capri was born. Available in 11 different colors there are plenty of options to fit your color mood. Each pair comes with different layering options and sculpty cuffs (yay!). You can get them by visiting the *~* Algade *~* Main Store.

Also, we are currently setting up a new store on Lollipop Lane on the Zanzo sim. As soon as that is finished I'll post the location and more information on a freebie I will be offering in both stores as a celebration of the opening on Zanzo.

Heart Tee

So, there is a special someone in my SL and that said person is my inspiration for my latest release. The I <3 Tee. It's simple with a touch of detail. If you're like me and a sucker for love then you won't want to miss out on this shirt.

There's a new release out in Algade's classic colors (pink, blue, and purple). It's just in time for spring and oh so feminine it'll make your man (or lady) quiver. Keep an eye on the main store as I will have some new releases this week that may or may not be lingerie. Oh the excitement, I can hardly contain myself.

Store Open. . . kind of

Okay, so I have two items up... but the vendors are up, running, and the group joiner is also working. Make sure you join the group to receive future notices and freebies. New Store and Releases

Hey all -

I am working on opening up my store, *~* Algade *~*, Friday the 26th of February. Keep an eye on the blog for more information regarding announcements, new releases, and the grand opening. Please make sure to join the *~* Algade VIP *~* group to receive updates and freebies. This group may be a charge to join group later on so make sure to join before there is a fee.
